Carolina Arms Group 1911 Lone Survivor Foundation Raffle
Lone Survivor Foundation has paired up with another veteran owned organization, the Carolina Arms Group, in order to offer an exceptional, one of a kind, commemorative 1911 pistol. This pistol has been hand crafted in a modern facility, under the expert craftsmanship of experienced CAG gunsmiths and technicians. As a veteran owned company, CAG understands the special needs our service men and service women face when they come home. The Carolina Arms Group produces exceptionally well crafted 1911 pistols on a daily basis, but because of the mission, this prize pistol has been lavished with some “extra special” attention.
Built along the lines of CAG’s newest “Veteran” model, this gun features unique engraving which sets this gun apart as a tribute to those who have served our great nation. The “Lone Survivor Foundation” logo is present, as is a star-spangled “USA” banner at the nose of the slide. “Old Glory” adorns the custom wood grips, making for a striking commemorative that stands head and shoulders above so many of the more gaudy embellishments which are common to commemorative guns. This pistol is ready to serve proudly, yet in an understated manner, just like so many of our veterans which it is designed to honor.
It is almost a letdown to discuss the technical specifications of the pistol, but rest assured, the match grade barrel and fitted bushing, coupled with the excellent fiber optic sight system, will assure you of hitting your target, as long as the shooter does his or her part. For only $20 per ticket, this exceptional firearm might become the centerpiece of your own personal collection. Win or lose, you’ll know that you’ve had the honor of supporting an amazing organization that gives hope to our vets, who have already made such a sacrifice for each of us.
The winner of this pistol will be drawn on Monday, the 27th of February, 2017. If tickets are still available, the prize gun will be on display at the SHOT Show in January, but we wouldn’t recommend waiting that long to jump in and order your tickets!
