Carolina Arms Group 1911 Lone Survivor Foundation Raffle

Lone Survivor Foundation has paired up with another veteran owned organization, the Carolina Arms Group, in order to offer an exceptional, one of a kind, commemorative 1911 pistol. This pistol has been hand crafted in a modern facility, under the expert craftsmanship of experienced CAG gunsmiths and technicians. As a veteran owned company, CAG understands the special needs our service men and service women face when they come home. The Carolina Arms Group produces exceptionally well crafted 1911 pistols on a daily basis, but because of the mission, this prize pistol has been lavished with some “extra special” attention.

Built along the lines of CAG’s newest “Veteran” model, this gun features unique engraving which sets this gun apart as a tribute to those who have served our great nation. The “Lone Survivor Foundation” logo is present, as is a star-spangled “USA” banner at the nose of the slide. “Old Glory” adorns the custom wood grips, making for a striking commemorative that stands head and shoulders above so many of the more gaudy embellishments which are common to commemorative guns. This pistol is ready to serve proudly, yet in an understated manner, just like so many of our veterans which it is designed to honor.

It is almost a letdown to discuss the technical specifications of the pistol, but rest assured, the match grade barrel and fitted bushing, coupled with the excellent fiber optic sight system, will assure you of hitting your target, as long as the shooter does his or her part. For only $20 per ticket, this exceptional firearm might become the centerpiece of your own personal collection. Win or lose, you’ll know that you’ve had the honor of supporting an amazing organization that gives hope to our vets, who have already made such a sacrifice for each of us.

The winner of this pistol will be drawn on Monday, the 27th of February, 2017. If tickets are still available, the prize gun will be on display at the SHOT Show in January, but we wouldn’t recommend waiting that long to jump in and order your tickets!

About Lone Survivor Foundation:
Our mission is to restore, empower and renew hope for wounded service members and their families through health, wellness and therapeutic support. LSF hosts therapeutic retreats for service members with Post Traumatic Stress, mild Traumatic Brain Injury, Chronic Pain, and Military Sexual Trauma. We host retreats for individual service members, couples, and families, as well as separate retreats for care partners. Retreat attendees partake in psychoeducational group sessions and individual counseling, as well as Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) using the EAGALA model, neuro-feedback, combat-trauma specific yoga and other cutting-edge modalities. All of these services are provided at no cost to the service members or their families through the generous support of donors and sponsors, and through fundraising events around the country.
We are steadily growing our program to meet the needs of our increasing waiting list. In 2015, LSF provided 16 retreats serving 122 veterans and family members. This year, LSF is hosting 31 retreats with over 200 participants. Next year, 43 retreats are already scheduled and filling up with over 300 participants projected. Retreats are hosted in the fall/winter months at the our first owned retreat facility in Crystal Beach, TX which opened in April of 2015. In the summer months, retreats are hosted at two rented facilities in the Park City, UT area.
