The founders of the United States of America wanted a symbol for the nation that would represent strength and freedom. They chose the eagle, a symbol of independence, power, courage, majesty and exceptional vision.
These same characteristics represent those who financially support the Foundation and our mission of restoring, empowering, and renewing hope to our wounded service members, veterans and their families. The Foundation is proud to call our supporters the Lone Survivor Foundation Eagles. The collective financial commitments of these individuals, businesses and foundations provide the needed support for our service members and their families to receive and for the Foundation to provide the services our heroes so deserve.
“NEVER QUIT on those who NEVER QUIT on us!” is the creed of the Lone Survivor Foundation and its Eagle sponsors.
Eagles can designate their support to the Foundation in a variety of ways including general unrestricted support of the greatest needs of the Foundation, support of specific events, supporting the capital funding of retreat facilities, building Foundation endowments, funding retreats, co-venturing through donations made from the sale of goods and products and through planned giving.
There are four levels of sponsorship, or heights to which the Lone Survivor Eagles fly/support; the 1 Star ($10,000-$24,999), 2 Star ($25,000-$49,999), 3 Star ($50,000-$99,999) and 4 Star ($100,000+) levels are based on financial and in-kind donations made. Everyone who supports Lone Survivor Foundation is a General or Admiral in standing with the organization whether it is 1, 2, 3, or 4 star.
Lone Survivor Foundation is a §501(c)(3) organization and you therefore may be entitled to a charitable deduction for your gift.
